Kachka was born at a dinner party. Let us host yours.
The inspiration for our restaurant in so many ways were the dinner parties our immigrant family hosted in Chicago when Bonnie was growing up in the ‘80s — each party welcomed a new set of relatives arriving from the former USSR, and with each gathering, our table grew. Somehow there was always room to squeeze in another seat (or if needed, the living room couch), and another platter of zakuski. Tetris was invented in Russia, after all.
We ate, we drank, we sang, and we toasted to resilience and the good fortune that we are alive to enjoy it.
We strive to evoke those parties and that atmosphere every night in our dining room at Kachka, and we love large parties!
It’s our pleasure to help you celebrate life’s special occasions and we love working with you to customize your experience — whether it’s a milestone birthday in our Gallery Room, a rehearsal dinner buyout at Kachka, or the cocktail party of your dreams at our distillery bar, Kachka Fabrika.
THE GALLERY ROOM AT KACHKA
We believe that one of the best ways to experience the spirit and tradition of our cuisine is a family-style dinner, complete with toasting, passing plates, and plenty of vodka. We built the private dining room just off of Kachka’s main dining room as the ideal space just for that. We love hosting milestone birthdays, company parties, rehearsal dinners and any occasions you choose to gather your favorite people. We’ll work with you to create a menu, cover your table in zakuski, and keep the vodka flowing.
Capacity: Up to 32 guests
Our Gallery Room is equipped with AV capabilities.
THE LOFT AT KACHKA FABRIKA DISTILLERY & ZAKUSKI BAR
Our lounge in the open loft above our distillery bar, Kachka Fabrika, is a beautiful space for a cocktail party or lively dinner. Modern marble topped tables sit alongside a rich leather couch and chairs under warm, low lighting, making the space feel sleek and cozy.
Our culinary team can create the ideal menu for your party in this versatile space, whether it’s a raw bar of Pacific Northwest seafood (ice luge optional!), cocktail party with passed zakuski, buffet of dumplings and hot zakuski, we’d love to work with you.
Capacity: From 8 to 24 guests
This space also has a projection screen for meetings and parties.
FULL RESTAURANT BUYOUTS
If there’s a special occasion that calls for having the whole space to yourself, we offer full buyouts at both Kachka and Kachka Fabrika, up to 60 days in advance, with a minimum of 30 days notice.

Capacity at Kachka Fabrika: 75 (loft and bar area both included)
PRESET GROUP DINING
We love hosting large parties in our dining room as well. We can accommodate groups of up to twelve at a large table, and can work with you on a pre-set menu of Kachka favorites, or enjoy one of our special meals created just for large-format dining: in the summer months, we offer our Shashlik Party, and from fall through spring, our Plov Party. A show stopping main dish and a parade of accompaniments built for sharing.
